Hale Synergy – Punchbowl, NSW
PACE Architects was engaged as Lead Architectural Consultant for the construction delivery of Synergy at 45–57 Moxon Road, Punchbowl NSW — a next-generation multi-level industrial and logistics development delivering approximately 37,000m² of premium industrial accommodation within Sydney’s tightly held Inner South West.
Building on PACE’s involvement across a growing portfolio of major multi-level industrial developments, Synergy further positions PACE at the forefront of multi-level industrial architecture and project delivery in Australia.
PACE is responsible for leading the architectural construction documentation, design development and multidisciplinary consultant coordination, working collaboratively with the contractor, client, specialist subcontractors and consultant team to resolve the complex interfaces inherent in large-scale vertical logistics developments and see the project through construction to completion.
The development comprises 12 flexible industrial tenancies, with accommodation ranging from approximately 2,519m² through to 37,008m², providing the flexibility to respond to a broad range of logistics, warehousing and industrial occupiers.
At the heart of the design is the ability to make a multi-level facility operate with the efficiency of traditional ground-level warehousing. Functional ramp infrastructure provides semi-trailer access to all units, supported by one-way heavy-vehicle circulation, dedicated container loading zones and generous 30-metre-wide breezeways providing protected, all-weather loading environments.
The facility integrates heavy-duty warehouse floor slabs, high-capacity racking capability, ESFR sprinkler protection, contemporary corporate office accommodation, undercover parking and dedicated EV charging infrastructure.
Strategically positioned close to Canterbury Road, Fairford Road, the Hume Highway and M5 Motorway, Synergy provides excellent connectivity to Sydney CBD, Port Botany, Bankstown Airport and the wider metropolitan transport network.
Sustainability is embedded within the development, with the project targeting a minimum 4 Star Green Star rating and incorporating initiatives including solar photovoltaic systems, rainwater harvesting, EV charging and energy-efficient building services.
Targeting completion in Q4 2026, Synergy represents another important project within PACE’s expanding portfolio of sophisticated multi-level industrial facilities.
Having now been involved in the delivery of multiple major ramp-up and multi-level industrial developments, PACE brings specialist knowledge of the challenges that define this emerging building typology — from heavy-vehicle ramp geometry, vertical logistics and structural coordination through to loading operations, fire engineering, services integration, façade detailing and buildability.
This growing body of experience places PACE Architects at the forefront of multi-level industrial design, documentation and construction delivery, helping shape a new generation of high-density logistics facilities across Australia.
