PACE Supporting Australia’s National Carrier

PACEARCHITECTS is proud to have played a key role in the delivery of a major new aviation training facility for Qantas and Jetstar, supporting the next generation of Australian aviation.

Working collaboratively with Montreal-based architects Figurr, PACE helped develop and deliver the multi-million-dollar Sydney Flight Training Centre at St Peters, strategically located near Sydney Airport.

Designed across three levels, the facility has the capacity to support the training of up to 4,500 new and existing pilots, bringing together advanced simulation technology, specialist training environments and purpose-designed learning spaces.

The facility accommodates some of the latest aviation training technology, including an A320 full-flight simulator, together with simulators supporting the Qantas Group’s B787, A330 and B737NG fleets. Dedicated classrooms and specialist training rooms complete an environment designed around performance, technology and the future of aviation.

Delivered to meet CAE international standards and LOGOS Green Star sustainability initiatives, the project reflects the strength of collaboration between international expertise and PACE’s local architectural and delivery experience.
