We, Patrick and Damien, are participating in our first Kayak for Kids event. The inspiration for our entry this year is Patrick's 1 year old daughter Stella (who also happens to be Damien's niece and god daughter). Stella was welcomed by us into this world with Down syndrome. There she is at the top right of this page! Stella attends her local Lifestart centre where she is the recipient of regular early intervention services to help her develop many of the life skills.
